MCC Dual Recovery Committee

The MCC Dual Recovery Committee is the primary organizational source for the Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA) Fellowship in Massachusetts. It is the guiding force behind a long standing Dual Recovery Project that has been serving the local community for over 30 years. This project is funded by the Massachusetts Behavioral Health Partnership (MBHP) and relies on their ongoing support for education, outreach, training, and events. The committee organizes statewide dual recovery events including an annual Dual Recovery Retreat, Dual Recovery Celebration, and monthly educational meetings. These gatherings were ushered in by DRA founder, Tim Hamilton in 1994 and continue to take place today.

The MCC dual recovery monthly committee meetings are available to leaders, participants, and supporters of DRA. In addition to promoting educational topics, these committee meetings aim to build strong relationships throughout the fellowship, enhancing the DRA groups themselves, and developing leadership for the Massachusetts-based DRA community. They are held on the first Thursday of the month (10am-11:30am) on Zoom.
